Our Daily Routine

9-9:20 Individual Learning Activity - children choose an activity from a specific cupboad that teaches specific skills (Montessori method), and have individual teacher instruction
9:20 - 9:45 Circle Time - Welcome Song, sharing, assign daily jobs, Days of the Week and Weather Bear
9:45 - 10:05 Lesson Time - Books, Role Playing, Puppets, Singing/Musical Instruments, etc.
10:05 - 10:30 Snack and Manners Role Playing
10:30 - 11:00 Art/Craft/" Multiple Intelligences" Activity
11:00 - 11:15 Review Lesson and Reading Time
11:15 - 11:25 Free Play - Group or Individual
11:25 - 11:30 Clean-up, Goodbye song and Cinnamon Roll HUG!

Our Learning Lab Around Us

It is a joy to see how each child is growing and learning more about who they are and what they are capable of. It is always fun to think up ways that we will be able to learn, practice and experience our monthly JOYS and other wonderful curriculum! This age group is full of discovery, learning through play, interaction, and even the quiet moments of self-discovery as the children direct their own choices in activies, friendships and craft activities. Catching a glimpse of their minds at work, or the funny to very important and very clever things they say each day make this a very exciting and rewarding time for everyone!
